Safety
The Fountain Valley School District recognizes that students and staff have the right to a safe and secure campus where students are free from physical and psychological harm. The District is committed to maximizing school safety and creating a positive learning environment that includes strategies for emergency preparedness, violence prevention, and high expectations for student conduct.
Comprehensive Safe School Plans
Comprehensive Safe School Plans are developed for each school site within the District. Each site reviews and approves the Comprehensive Safe School Plan through their School Site Councils. Each plan is then reviewed and approved by the Fountain Valley Board of Education and then sent to the Orange County Department of Education. Copies of the Comprehensive Safe School Plans are available upon request through the office of Support Services.
