As we begin to enter the final stretch towards the end of the year we are so excited and impressed with all of the continued work by our collaborative teams in focusing on “Best” First Instruction, using increasing amounts of student Data, and how our sites have piloted/implemented new ways to support ALL of our students with Academic/Social Emotional Supports.

Attached is the Educational Services Newsletter #3 showcasing just some of the many different ways our teams across FVSD continue to work together on behalf or our kids and our community.

Welcome to the start of the the 2016/17 school year!

We are all very excited to have our doors open, and appreciate all of the work by our classified, certificated, and management staff in getting ready for all of our students today.

For the 2016/17 school year the Educational Services Division has a targeted focus on the following areas:

  1. “Best” First Instruction
  2. Data Driven
  3. Social/Emotional/Academic Support

In support of this work we are committed to coordinated professional development, providing timely/relevant student data, and working collaboratively to build systems of support to ensure success for all or our PreK- 8 students.
