Week 2 -  Day 1

• Compare pictures using adjectives
• Think about the Fireflies video.  Can you think of 3 adjectives, to describe the firefly?  Write them in your journal using your best spelling.  Be sure to print letters like you practiced last week.
• Practice letter writing with Rainbow Letters,  Be sure to make it colorful.

Week 2 -  Day 2

• Have you ever seen a real firefly? If so, what did you do with them?  Did you play with them?  Catch them?  Try to write a sentence about it.  Use the sentence frame if needed.

                       Be sure to illustrate.

• If you have not seen a real firefly, what would you do if you did see one at night? Try to write a sentence about it.  Use the sentence frame if needed.

• Want to learn how to Draw a Firefly (Lightning Bug) .Use your journal to draw it.
• Create a diagram out of your drawing by labeling the body parts:
• Head
• Wings
• Legs
• Thorax
• Abdomen

• Which two words start with the same sound?
• Find all the words that start with a given sound
• Think about your first name.  Write it in your journal.  Circle the first letter.
• Write 3 words that start with the same letter as your name.
• Practice writing by printing out  Lowercase letters. Take your time!
