Week 3 - Day 1

• Find the picture that matches the action verb
• Words that are actions are also called verbs.  There are many verbs in The Kissing Hand.  Can you find 3 of those verbs?  Write them down in your journal and draw an illustration to go with each one.
• Use your journal or the Writing Paper to practice writing your first & last name.  Be sure to use a capital letter at the beginning of each name.

Week 3 - Day 2

• Watch Rhyming Words Game
• Choose the picture that rhymes with the word
• See if you can say 3 rhyming words for each word below:
• bat
• lip
• mop
• get
• bug
• Be sure to write your rhyming words in your journal.  Use your neatest writing.  The letters should be lowercase.

• Listen to Plural Song
• Choose the singular or plural noun that matches the picture
• Here is an activity to cut and sort singular or plural nouns.

Week 3 - Day 4

• Watch Spacing Between Words video.

• Choose the sentence that is spaced correctly
• Write the following sentence in your journal using the proper spacing between words.  You can use your finger to guide you, if needed.

                           The cat sat on the mat.

Be sure to use a capital letter at the beginning of the sentence, use spaces between words, and a period at the end.

• Watch Nouns on BrainPoP Jr.
• Here is an activity to sort & write Nouns.
