COVID-19 Operations Written Report
On April 23, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom issued Executive Order N-56-20. This Executive Order established a new timeline for developing the 2020-21 Local Control Accountability Plan. Also, it established the requirement that school districts develop a COVID-19 Operations Written Report to be adopted by local school boards and posted to district websites on or before July 1, 2020. Executive Order N-56-20 guided that districts should develop COVID-19 Operations Written Reports that describe the following actions:

- District efforts to deliver high-quality distance learning opportunities
- District efforts to provide school meals in non-congregated settings
- District efforts to arrange for supervision of students during ordinary school hours
- District efforts to meet the needs of low-income students, English learners, and foster youth
FVSD's COVID-19 Operations Written Report was presented to the Board of Trustees for consideration at the regularly scheduled Board Meeting on June 23, 2020. The COVID-19 Operations Written report was approved. The COVID-19 Operations Written Report was submitted to the Orange County Department of Education along with the 2020-21 Budget in accordance with guidelines established by the California Department of Education.
