FVSD honors District Administrator of the Year, Dr. Julianne Hoefer

Dr. Hoefer joined the FVSD Family in 2009 as a site principal and was quickly recognized for her talents and gifts.  In 2011, Dr. Hoefer was promoted to the Director of Assessment and Accountability, a position that has recently been modified to Director of Educational Services.  In her present role, she leads and/or supports: the Local and State Assessment, State and Federal Program Mandates, Educational Technology, LCAP, SARCs, SPSAs, interventions and many of the District’s professional development efforts including: CGI, Thinking Maps, Technology, Academic Vocabulary, Small Group Differentiated Instruction and the Prompts of Depth and Complexity.  Prior to arriving in FVSD, Dr. Hoefer served as a teacher, assistant principal and principal in Anaheim City School District.

As Superintendent, Dr. Mark Johnson, explained, “Without question, Dr. Hoefer possesses the knowledge, skills, talents and experience that make her an obvious choice for District Administrator of the Year.  She has a can-do attitude and an extreme passion as a lifelong learner.  I feel privileged to work with her and know that she will continue to make a positive difference in students’ lives for years to come.”

In addition to her recognition as FVSD District Administrator of the Year, Dr. Hoefer will be honored by the Association of California School Administrators, Region 17 as Curriculum and Instruction Administrator at their Celebration of Excellence in May.
