State Standards

Educational Standards

Educational standards outline what students should know and be able to do in each subject from kindergarten through high school. In California, the State Board of Education establishes these standards for all students. These standards aim to promote the highest levels of achievement by clearly defining the knowledge, concepts, and skills necessary for success in each grade, and ultimately, in college and careers.
