6th-8th Grade Math
6th-8th Grade Math
The Fountain Valley School District (FVSD) middle school math department integrates McGraw-Hill California Math and the Irvine Math Project to help students achieve mastery in middle school math. With hands-on, research-based discovery activities, students engage with math in ways that align with the California State Mathematics Standards. Each grade level uses standards-based pacing guides and unit plans to meet student needs. The middle school math team has also developed common assessments to analyze data and guide future instruction. The team continuously revisits lessons to ensure they reach all learners.
