Welcome to the Public Information Office

The Public Information Office oversees communication for the Fountain Valley School District, including social media, the FVSD website, the FVSD YouTube channel, Peachjar e-flyer distribution, ParentSquare, School News Roll Call magazine, and our weekly updates via Constant Contact and FVSD Be in the Know. Our goal is to gather and share timely, accurate information with staff, families, and our community.

Accessibility Commitment

Fountain Valley School District is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users. We strive to provide information and services in a manner that is accessible to everyone and to meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We are continually reviewing and improving our websites and digital content to support effective communication and equitable access for all.

If you experience difficulty accessing any content, need information in an alternative format, or would like to report an accessibility concern, please contact Public Information Officer Joy Moyers at [email protected].

Access will be provided, and we will make every reasonable effort to address concerns in a timely manner. Your feedback is important and helps us continue to improve.

Public Records Requests (CPRA)

The Public Information Office also coordinates responses to requests submitted under the California Public Records Act (CPRA).

Many records are already available on the FVSD website or within Board of Trustees meeting agendas and attachments, which can be accessed here:
https://fvsd.community.diligentoneplatform.com/Portal/

Providing as much detail as possible when submitting a request can help expedite the process. Please note that the CPRA applies to existing records and does not require the creation of new documents.

Requests for public records may be directed to [email protected].

FVSD News Submissions

The Public Information Office welcomes positive stories, photos, and videos highlighting our students, staff, programs, and achievements.

To help us share your story effectively, please include a brief description, the school or program name, and any relevant details when emailing [email protected]
