Extended School Program (ESP)

The Extended School Program (ESP) provides a before- and after-school enrichment program for students in Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade. Our program features homework assistance, supplemental education, fine arts, physical fitness, and recreational activities. We are open Monday through Friday after school until 6 PM.

Tuition & Fees

  • TK–2nd Grade: $470/month
  • 3rd–5th Grade: $420/month
  • Before School (7:00 AM – 8:15 AM): $200/month

Financial Assistance

Children who meet certain criteria may qualify for a grant under the After School Childcare Grant (via ELOP) to cover ESP costs. Eligible criteria include:

  • English language learners (ELL)
  • Homeless or foster youth
  • Students approved for the FVSD Free & Reduced Lunch Program

To apply for the Free & Reduced Lunch Program, visit the FVSD Food Services website or complete a paper application (available online or at school offices).

Tamura State preschool offers
  • Morning Session: 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM
  • Full-day session: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM 
       *hours dependent on approval
Oka State Preschool offers
  • Morning Session: 8:00 - 11:00 AM

 

Child Development Center (CDC) Preschools Locations:

Courreges & Plavan Schools
  • Open Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • 5 Full Days: $1,000/month

California State Preschool Program (CSPP)
Open Monday through Friday, offering two sessions:

  • Morning Session: 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM
  • Afternoon Session: 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM

A FREE program sponsored by the Fountain Valley School District for preschool children and their parents. Parents and their children (ages 0-5) are invited to join interactive play and learning centers created by preschool teachers to foster school readiness.
