School News Roll Call Magazine highlights the excellence in our public schools. The quality of the public schools in a community sets the standard for the quality of the community. Everyone is a partner in the education of our youth through public education. The publication is now available in both English and Vietnamese.

"The 2025–2026 school year is officially underway, and nothing is more joyful than opening our doors to students on the very first day. Amidst the excitement, some of the brightest smiles come from our youngest learners—our Transitional Kindergarten (TK) students.
Children who turn five on or before September 1, 2025, are eligible to begin TK, giving them a wonderful early start to their school journey. Our TK teachers and staff create classrooms filled with warmth, curiosity, and encouragement, ensuring that every child feels safe and supported as they begin to explore, play, and grow.
From making new friends to discovering the joy of learning, TK provides the foundation for success in the years ahead. We are grateful to our dedicated FVSD educators and proud of the partnership with families that makes this milestone so special. Welcome, TK students—we can’t wait to see all you will achieve!"
