Fairytales and Fast Lines: Talbert Drama Shines in Latest Production

The Talbert Middle School stage was transformed into a world of fractured fairytales this week as the drama department presented The Brothers Grimm, Out of Order. The production featured two different casts—Cast A on Monday and Cast B on Tuesday—giving dozens of students the chance to showcase their hard work and comedic timing.

This specific play is known for being a "wordy" script, requiring the actors to memorize a massive amount of dialogue and rapid-fire cues. Despite the challenge, the T-Birds rose to the occasion, delivering their lines with confidence and spirit.

"The dedication these students showed during rehearsals really paid off on stage," said drama teacher Robin Franks. The district would like to extend a special thank you to Mrs. Franks for her leadership and to the dedicated parents and staff members who worked behind the scenes on tech, snacks, and costumes. Bravo to all our performers!
