The Lighthouse Leadership Award is reserved for students who consistently live out the FVSD Guiding Principles: Integrity, Love, Teamwork, Leadership, Perseverance, Citizenship, and Respect.
Family members and district staff listened proudly as Cox teachers took turns at the podium. Each educator shared inspiring stories about how their student nominee acts as a positive role model, helps classmates, and brings a wonderful attitude to campus every single day.
Each student leader was called up to receive an official certificate of achievement, signed by School Board President Mr. Cole and Superintendent Dr. Stopp. In honor of their hard work and school spirit, they also walked away with a mini plush eagle, the beloved mascot of Cox Elementary.
