Attendance Tiers
To keep track of progress throughout the school year, families can use a tier system to gauge where their student stands:

Exemplary (Blue): Absent 3 days or less in a school year.

On Track (Green): Absent 4–8 days in a school year.

Warning (Yellow): Absent 9–17 days in a school year.

Chronic Absence (Red): Absent 18+ days in a school year.
How to Track and Report Absences
We encourage families to print or post the FVSD Attendance Tracker at home! Every time your student misses school (whether excused or unexcused), simply mark an "X" or write the date in the numbered boxes on the tracker.
If your child needs to miss school due to an illness or medical appointment, notifying your campus office is fast and easy:
