The celebration reached a crescendo when representatives from the Philharmonic Society of Orange County made a special visit to campus. Arriving directly to Mr. C’s 5th-period Advanced Band class, the representatives presented a commemorative big check and delivered a van full of brand-new gear, including musical instruments, sound equipment, and a new director's stand.
Principal Dr. Ham and Assistant Principal Mrs. McGhie joined the class to introduce the Philharmonic Society guests and congratulate Mr. C on his initiative. The presentation wrapped up with a group photo featuring the guest representatives, administrators, Mr. C, and the excited 5th-period Advanced Band students posing with their new instruments.
