About the District
FVSD spans 9 square miles across the cities of Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach, serving approximately 6,000 students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Our core mission is to provide equal educational opportunities that empower every student to become a responsible, self-sustaining citizen. We achieve this through rigorous academic programs, a highly trained and dedicated staff, and a deep commitment to the individual worth of every child.
Educational Facilities
We operate 10 modern school sites designed to support both high-quality instruction and spacious recreation.
Our campuses are proud community assets, utilized for social, educational, and recreational programs during and after school hours. District administration and essential support services, including transportation, maintenance, warehouse, food services, and print services, are housed in two separate central facilities.
Assistant Superintendent, Business Services, Isidro Guerra, and Director Fiscal Services, Pooja Shah provided an update for the Board of Trustees on the State Budget and its effect on the Fountain Valley School District.
