Insurance Benefits
The Insurance Benefits Department coordinates and administers district-wide insurance plans for Fountain Valley School District, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options, along with various voluntary plans. Employees who work at least 20 hours per week are eligible for insurance benefits.
Insurance Plans
- Medical Insurance: Provided through CalPERS
- Dental Insurance: Provided through Delta Dental
- Vision Insurance: Provided through VSP
- Term Life Insurance: Employer-sponsored, $50,000 plan through MetLife
- Employee Assistance Plan (EAP): Employer-sponsored program
- Long-Term Disability (LTD) Plan: Available for Management and Confidential employees, a $5,000 plan
Enrollment and Access
All enrollments are processed online through the Keenan & Associates insurance portal, BenefitBridge. You may access the portal at BenefitBridge for FVSD.
Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment begins annually in early September and continues through early October, with changes effective on January 1st. The Insurance Benefits Department is available to assist employees during this period to ensure a smooth transition to the new insurance plan year.
