Fountain Valley School District Nondiscrimination Policy
The Fountain Valley School District Governing Board is committed to providing equal access and opportunities in the district’s academic and other educational support programs, services, and activities. District programs, activities, practices, and employment shall be free from discrimination, harassment, intimidation, and bullying based on actual or perceived characteristics, including: race, color, ancestry, national origin, nationality, immigration status, ethnicity, ethnic group identification, age, religion, marital or parental status, pregnancy, physical or mental disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or gender expression, genetic information, or association with a person or group with one or more of these actual or perceived characteristics.
Any school employee who witnesses an incident of unlawful discrimination, including discriminatory harassment, intimidation, retaliation, or bullying, shall intervene to stop the incident as soon as it is safe to do so.
