COVID 19 Operations Written Report

COVID-19 Operations Written Report

On April 23, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom issued Executive Order N-56-20.  This Executive Order established a new timeline for the development of the 2020-21 Local Control Accountability Plan and also established the requirement that school districts develop a COVID-19 Operations Written Report to be adopted by local school boards and posted to district websites on or before July 1, 2020.   Executive Order N-56-20 provided guidance that districts should develop COVID-19 Operations Written Reports that provide a description of the following actions:
  • District efforts to deliver high-quality distance learning opportunities
  • District efforts to provide school meals in non-congregated settings
  • District efforts to arrange for supervision of students during ordinary school hours
  • District efforts to meet the needs of low-income students, English learners, and foster youth
FVSD's COVID-19 Operations Written Report was presented to the Board of Trustees for consideration at the June 23, 2020, regularly scheduled Board Meeting.  The COVID-19 Operations Written report was approved.  The COVID-19 Operations Written Report was submitted to the Orange County Department of Education along with the 2020-21 Budget in accordance with guidelines established by the California Department of Education.  Please see the full reports below.
